Communications that cross the platform

Collectively, Museum Victoria museums attract over 2.3 million visitors a year with Melbourne Museum being the largest museum in the Southern Hemisphere and Victoria's most visited education space.

When we work with Museum Victoria, our role is to enhance the experience for visitors to Melbourne Museum, Scienceworks or the Immigration Museum as well as increase the profile of the organisation.

In 2007 Streamer's principal Kate Scott worked with a small team to re-brand the four venues as Museum Victoria, providing each museum with its own identity under the parent brand. This involved a full scale family of brands to be implemented across different platforms and projects from exhibitions and events through to online activities.

In 2010, we designed a world-first interactive iPad application for Melbourne Museum's tenth anniversary titled Please touch the exhibit. The app soon became an Apple staff favourite and was a leader in the iTunes education category for over a month.

We've also designed the visual language and exhibition graphics for exhibitions including Identity: Yours, Mine, Ours at the Immigration Museum which won a Vic Health award in communications in 2011. At Melbourne Museum we developed the visual language for Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures and in 2014 we created the identity and creative for World War I: Love and Sorrow.
